Dream Template Review: Antonio Antunes

01/30/11

Pros:

Easy activation
Support is good (but only before you pays)

Cons:

Scam! They say "unlimited", but have a limit of 60 per day.
There are ridiculous templates, which no purpose, only to make number.
The cliparts are even more bad.

Other Thoughts:

On the activation email they say "unlimited, but after 90 day we drop the 60-per-day limit".

I have almost 9 months, tried to drop this limit and they don't answer me for 6 days now. Still waiting. Sounds like a scam, because after 90 days you can't chargeback, so you are left on their hands.

Dream Template Review: Grokkar

Pros:

The price, if you only want html templates.

Cons:

Subpar quality of product, although they advertise that you can download all products, must login separately to each section, and login doesn't work anyway.

Other Thoughts:

I would rather spend more money at boxedart.com or designload.com. At least you can login.

Dream Template Review: Robert

04/13/09

Pros:

The pricing is cheap and that's about it.

Cons:

The templates are far from professional - most of them are messy, bad-written table-based layouts that are hard to customize. A lot of them are just images without any other files. Their help people are rude and dodgy, and their conditions are sneaky

Other Thoughts:

I thought it looked like a good deal and signed up. After downloading a variety of the templates, I found that the quality was far from their advertised "professional". All their templates needed a lot of work and their Joomla ones were out of date. All their shopfront ones were only images.
Their help service was rude to me when I complained and did not reply on the first complaint, taking several days on the second. They eventually directed me to a bunch of crappy css templates which are worse than the free ones you can find on the net.
Furthermore, they advertise unconditional cash back if unhappy - which I most definitely was - and when I asked for it, directed me to a special clause about downloading more than 20 templates (most of that in search of actual quality templates). Sure its cheap, but still not worth it - go to another provider!
I would advise everybody to not make the same mistake I did and stay away from this site! I can't get my money back but I hope they can't rip off other people.
